The ingredients needed to make Mutter Mushroom:
- Use 200 gm button mushrooms
- Use 1 cup Green peas
- Get 2 tbsp milk cream or malai
- You need 2 Onions chopped
- You need 3 Tomatoes Cut in to pieces
- Provide 1 tsp Garlic paste
- Provide 1/2 tsp ginger paste
- Take 1-2 green chillies finely chopped
- Provide 1/2 red chilli powder
- Take 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Use 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder or degi Mirchi powder
- Take 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- Use 1 tsp coriander powder
- Prepare to taste Salt
- Take 2-3 tbsp Oil for cooking
- Provide Coriander sprigs for garnish
Instructions to make Mutter Mushroom:
- Wash mushrooms 2-3 times in warm salted water. Cut in desired pieces.
- Grind onion, ginger & garlic in a fine paste. Grind tomatoes & green chillies separately. Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a Kadhai. Add onion paste. Saute it until light brown. Add tomato puree. Saute all until oil separates. Add all seasonings. Mix all properly.
- Add peas & mushrooms in onion tomato gravy. Stir all. Add 1/2 cup water. Cover it with lid. Cook it on medium flame until mushrooms & peas cooked. Check seasonings.
- Add milk cream or malai. Stir in well. Cook it more for 1-2 minutes. Switch off gas.
- Garnish with coriander sprigs.
- Serve hot with chapati.
