The ingredients needed to prepare Raw mango jaggery Chutney:
- Prepare 1 raw mango
- Provide 1/2 cup Jaggery or as per taste
- Use to taste Salt
- Provide 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- You need 1 tsp Coriander powder
- Use 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- Get 2-3 tsp Oil
- Get 1/4 tsp Cumin mustard seeds
- Use 1/8 tsp Asafoetida
Instructions to make Raw mango jaggery Chutney:
- Wash and cut raw mangoes into small cubes. You can peel off the skin if you wish to otherwise it's okiee to take the skin along.
- Heat up a pan. Add oil. When hot add in mustard cumin seeds. Then add asafoetida.
- Add chopped mangoes.
- Add 1/2 cup water cover and cook for 2-3 mins.
- When mangoes are cooked add in jaggery, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder and mix well.
- When Jaggery melts turn the gas off.
