The ingredients needed to make Kanika:
- You need 1/2 cup Rice
- Get 2 tbsp Dry fruits
- Get 1/4 cup Ghee

Instructions to make Kanika:
- In a pan take 1 tbsp ghee and roast dry fruits.
- Now in pan add rest ghee and add spices like bay leave, star anise, black pepper, caradamom, cinnamon, coconut and roast them.
- Now add soaked rice.
- Add Turmeric and sugar and water and mix well. Cover the lid cook on medium flame for 15 mins approx.
- Serve hot.
