The ingredients needed to prepare Gajar Halwa:
  1. You need 500 gm - Carrots (Gajar) grated
  2. Provide 100 gm - Khoya (mawa)
  3. Use 75 gm - Sugar
  4. Take 50 gm - Coconut Powder
  5. You need 50 gm - Almonds (Badam), Cashew nuts (Kaju) & Raisins (Kishmish)
  6. Use 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
  7. You need 2 tbsp Deshi Ghee
  8. Get 5 gm Kesar
Instructions to make Gajar Halwa:
  1. First Collect all above the ingredients for make Halwa. Then take a Kadhai top up Gas Chula on low flame add ghee, when it will turn hot add Dry Fruits and fry it for some time. Then add grated Gajar and fry for 10 mins.
  2. Add Sugar, keep stirring between 10 mins (on low flame) till when it will come to little dry then add Khoya & 1 tea spoon coconut powder and stirring it again 5 mins.
  3. Add all the dry Fruits and Cardamom powder mix well on low flame between 5-10 mins. After cook turn off the Gas. Now serve on a Pan step by step. Some dry fruits bottom of Pan, add some Halwa, add Coconut Powder then again add some Halwa…. These process specifically for test delicious :)
  4. Now Freezing only for 15-30 mins. After Freeze serve on a plate. Then sprinkle Kesar top up the Halwa. This last one only for Decorations… :)
