The ingredients needed to make Masala tinda:
- Get 500 gms tinda
- Provide 2 onions
- Provide 2 tomatoes
- Get 2 Green Chillies
- Prepare 5-6 garlic cloves
- Use 1 inch ginger
- You need As per taste Salt and pepper as taste
- Use 1 tsp coriander powder
- Prepare 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Provide 1/2 tsp dry mango powder
- Provide 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Prepare 1/2 tsp jeera
- Provide 1/2 tsp ajwain
- Provide 1 tsp sabji masala
- Take Half glass water
Instructions to make Masala tinda:
- Firstly peel the tinda and wash it. Now cut into 4 parts but not till bottom.
- Now take a bowl add salt, pepper, haldi, amchoor powder, ajwain, sabji masala and dhaniya powder and add 2 tsp oil.
- Now take the slitted tinda and fill the masala in between the cuts and do same with rest of the tindas.
- Now take a mixer jar add onions, tomatoes, add garlic, ginger, green chilli and make a paste.
- Take a pressure cooker, add oil or ghee, add jeera and dhaniya powder. Then add paste and saute well and cook until oil releases.
- Now add the masala tindaband mix well. Let it get coated with masala for 2 mintues.
- Add half glass water and garam masala, close the lid and cook for 2 whistles on high flame and low down the flame and cook for 15 min.
- Your subji is ready. Serve with roti or paratha or rice and enjoy.
