Before you jump to Laddoo recipe, you may want to read this short interesting healthy tips about Make Healthy Eating A Part of Your Day-To-Day Life.

The benefits of healthy eating are these days being given more publicity than ever before and there are many reasons for doing this. Poor diet is a contributing factor in illnesses such as heart disease and hypertension which can place a drain on the economy. Everywhere you look, people are encouraging you to live a healthier way of life but then again, you are also being encouraged to rely on fast foods that can affect your health in a terrible way. People typically believe that healthy diets call for a lot of work and will significantly change how they live and eat. Contrary to that information, people can modify their eating habits for the better by making a few modest changes.

To see results, it is definitely not essential to drastically alter your eating habits. If you wish to commit to a wholesale change, that is okay but the main thing at first is to try to see to it that you are making more healthy eating choices. In time, you will probably find that you will eat more and more healthy food as your taste buds become accustomed to the change. Like many other habits, change occurs over a period of time and when a new way of eating becomes part of who you are, you are not going to feel the need to return to your old diet.

Therefore, it should be somewhat obvious that it’s not at all difficult to add healthy eating to your everyday life.

We hope you got insight from reading it, now let’s go back to laddoo recipe. To cook laddoo you only need 7 ingredients and 3 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Laddoo:
  1. Use 10 chappatis or bhakris If using bhakri recipe make sure you don’t use salt
  2. You need 1 cup finely grated (gor)Jaggery
  3. You need 1/2 cup ghee or unsalted butter
  4. Take 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  5. You need 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  6. Take 1-2 pinches saffron
  7. Take 7-8 finely chopped almonds (I coloured mine red using food colour)
Steps to make Laddoo:
  1. Cook the Chappatis or bhakri for 10 minutes in oven to make them crispy. (170 degrees F for 10 minutes).
    1. Cut the chappatis into small pieces until they are almost powder like. You can use a food processor if you like. Add the nutmeg, cardamom powder, chopped almonds and saffron to the ground chappatis. Save a few almonds for garnishing too.
  2. Heat the ghee and add the jaggery to it. Once the jaggery dissolves switch of the heat and add the ground chappatis. Mix well and once it's cool enough to handle, make round ladoos by hand or use any mould you have to give them a shape. Garnish with almonds and serve them warm or cold. When we were young, we hardly gave my mum a chance to form the ladoos as we loved eating them warm.
