  1. Provide 1 bowl semolina
  2. Provide 1 tb sp gram flour
  3. Get 1/2 bowl pure ghee
  4. Provide 1 bowl sugar
  5. You need 4 Green cardamoms
  6. Prepare 1 tb sp magaj
  7. You need 1 tb sp desiccated coconut
  8. You need 4-6 saffron strands
  9. Use 8-10 almonds
  10. Prepare 8-10 cashewnut

  12. Prepare 15-20 raisins
  13. Provide 4 bowls water
Instructions to make Ashtami Pujan Prashad:
  1. Heat ghee in a wok. Add semolina and roast it on low flame for 2 minutes. Now Add Gram flour, mix and roast it on low flame stirring continuously till it turn golden brown and an aroma starts coming. It will take around 15 minutes.
  2. Keep ready all the dry fruits ready and chop almonds, cashewnut and pistachio
  3. Roast semolina mixture and add all dry fruits, magaj, dessicated coconut powder and mix well. Keep some dry fruits for garnishing.
  4. Heat 4 bowls of water. Add green cardamoms, coarsely grinded, sugar and saffron strands. Boil till sugar dissolves completely.
  5. Add this sugar syrup in semolina mixture and keep on stirring till semolina absorbs all syrup.
