  2. You need 1 cup Coconut Grated
  3. Get 1 or 2 Green Chilli

  7. Prepare 1 pinch Fenugreek
  8. Take Coconut Oil
  9. Prepare Vegetables for cooking
  10. Provide 1/2 cup Cucumber (Vellarikka) cut lengthwise
  11. Provide 1 cup Carrots cut long
  12. Provide 1 drumstick
  13. Take 1/2 banana raw piece cut lengthwise
  14. Take 1/2 cup Snakegourd
  15. You need 1/2 cup yam Elephant (Chena)
  16. Take 1/2 cup potato
  17. You need Other
  18. Take a few Curry leaves
  19. Use Salt
  20. You need one pinch Pepper pepper Powder or crushed
  21. Provide 1 Cup Curd beaten
Instructions to make Avial:
  1. Grind all the ingredients under the "To Grind"  into a fine paste and keep aside
  2. Cook all the vegetables in a cooker for 1 - 2 whistles and keep aside
  3. In a pan add the beaten curd and bring it to a slow boil. The curd needs to split. Make sure you continuously stir the curd 
  4. Once the curd is split add the cooked vegetables and the ground paste and bring it all to boil. 
  5. Add curry leaves and a teaspoon of coconut oil when it comes to a boil. 
  6. Temper the mustard and Fenugreek  and add this to the Avial. 
  7. Serve with rice
