The ingredients needed to make Modak:
  1. Get 1/2 cup Rice flour
  2. Prepare 150 gm Mawa
  3. Take 2 tablespoon Jaggery (melted)
  4. Provide 1 tablespoon Condensed milk
  5. Take 3 tablespoon Dry Coconut (grated)
  6. Take 7-8 Almonds (finely chopped)
  7. Prepare 5-6 Pistachios (finely chopped)
  8. Take 5-6 Cashew nuts (finely chopped)
  9. Use 10-15 Raisins
  10. Get 1 cup Water (or as per need)
Instructions to make Modak:
  1. Boil water in vessel and then put rice flour in it and cover it for 5 minutes then knead it into a soft dough.
  2. Now in a bowl, combine other left ingredients and mix it well.
  3. Cut small portions or peic3s from the dough then flatten it a bit and stuff it with the prepared mixture.
  4. Now a shape it like modak using any spoon's or fork's back or if you have modak mould you can use it then.
  5. Now cook it in steamer for 20-25 minutes then switch off the flame.
  6. Modak is ready to serve now.
