- Get 100gm Black Chana (chick-pea)
- Take 150 gm Palak
- Take 1 Onion finely chopped
- Prepare 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste

- Soak black chana overnight and pressure cook for 20 minutes. Boil spinach separtely and grind coursely
- Heat oil in a pan and fry onion. When it is half fried, add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric and coriander powder and fry for another 5 minutes.
- Add tomato puree and red chilli powder and fry till it leaves oil. - Add boiled black chana, spinach, and salt.
- Add 1/2 cup water to mix all the contents, cover it and cook for another 10 minutes.
