The ingredients needed to make Matcha Modak:

  2. Use 3 Tbsp milk
  3. Get 2 tsp Matcha powder unsweetened
  4. Provide 200 gms khoya
  5. Prepare 100 gms sugar
  6. Take 1/2 tsp green cardamom powder
  7. Provide For the filling
  8. You need as required Chocolate chips
  9. Prepare 1 Tbsp coconut desiccated
  10. Get 1 Tbsp cashew nuts roasted
Instructions to make Matcha Modak:
  1. Warm the milk and whisk in the match powder until fully dissolved. Crumble the khoya and in a non-stick pan add the khoya and add the matcha dissolved into the milk. Add sugar and cardamom powder. Bring it to heat.
  2. Keep stirring on low heat stirring continuously until the sugar is dissolved completely. The consistency should be thick and keep stirring. It will be hard to stir and that point you can set aside. Don’t overcook.

  5. Grease a Modak mould and fill with the matcha mixture. Add the chocolate mixture in the centre and form the Modak’s. Set aside. Plate. The Modak’s can be stored in an air tight container for 10 days
