The ingredients needed to cook Modak:
  1. Get 1 cup milk powder
  2. Take 1/4 cup milk
  3. Take 1/4 cup ghee
  4. Prepare 1/2 cup sugar powdered
  5. Provide Pinch saffron in warm milk
  6. Provide 1 tsp Green cardamom powder
  7. Prepare 1/2 cup chopped almonds, pistachios, raisins
Instructions to make Modak:
  1. In a pan take 1/4 cup milk add ghee then mix milk powder gently. Add sugar. Mix well.
  2. Now switch on the burner heat the pan stir continuously on low flame. Cook until the mixture become thick. And leaves the sides of the pan. Cool the mixture. Add saffron and cardamom powder.
  3. Apply some ghee on your palm. Take a little mixture and make a round shape. Fill with chopped dry fruits.
  4. Use your finger to make a conical shape. And using a toothpick, make a design on the Modak.
