Steps to make Gatte ki sabzi:
  1. To make the gatta, taken besan and mix all ingredients mentioned. Mix well. Slowly add oil and curd and make a fine dough. Make small balls and roll I to cylindrical shapes. Take a pan of water, let it boil. Add the cylindrical rolls of besan and let it boil. When the gattas rise up they are cooked. Takes about 10-15 min. Remove them and cool. Cut into small circles. Keep the water aside.
  2. For the gravy, whisk curd and keep. In a pan add the tempering. Add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 3 cloves, 1 inch cinnamon, 2 green cardamoms, 1 small to medium tej patta and 1 dry red chilli (seeds removed). Add all the spices together. So keep them ready before you heat the oil. fry till all the spices crackle. Do not burn the spices, so fry them on a low flame. Add the onion paste.mix well. Once cooked add the curd and whisk well so it dosent curdle.
  3. Make the final sabzi. Add the gattas to the curd gravy and simmer for 10 mins. Last add a bit of lemon and coriander and your done!! Serve it with parathas or rice
