  2. Prepare 2 cups besan
  3. You need 2 tbsp yogurt
  4. Take to taste Red chilli powder

  8. Prepare 1 green chilli (finely chopped)

Instructions to make Gatte ki sabzi:
  1. First step is to knead the began for gatte.
  2. Mix all the ingredients in the besan and rub it properly with your hands till it will be like bread crumbs.
  3. Knead the mixture using required water to get the soft dough like chapatis.
  4. Keep pan on flame with water good enough that all the gattas get merged into the water.
  5. Means while take small amount of dough in your hands and roll it up.
  6. Once the water start boiling. Put in the gatta one by one. The water should be boiling hot.
  7. Boil gatta in water till it start floating on the surface. It may take 5-10 minutes.
  8. Take them out and cut into the pieces of your choice small or big.
  9. Lets prepare the gravy. In a bowl take yogurt. Mix it very well till it becomes lumps free. Now add haldi powder, chilli powder, coriander powder to it. Mix it well.
  10. Switch on the gas and keep a pan on it. Keep the flame in between low and medium. Heat some ghee in it. Put Hing and jeera in it. Once jeera starts cracking, put one or two whole red chilli and then put haldi powder and Kashmiri red chilli powder in it.
  11. Fry for few seconds. Bring the flame to low, add yogurt mixture in it and keep on stirring it till it comes to boil.
  12. Once it comes to boil add 1cup of water to it. And keep stirring till it again comes to boil. Boil it for good 2 minutes. Add salt to it. Again give it a boil for a couple of minutes. Add fenugreek leaves to it.
  13. Finally add gatte to it and cover it and let it cook for 5-7 minutes.
  14. Add garam masala to it. Gate curry is ready to enjoy with Roti or Rice Or Batti.
