  1. Take 1 cup split green moong dal(200gms)
  2. Prepare 4-5 green chillies
  3. Provide 1 " ginger chopped
  4. Get 1 pinch asafoetida
  5. You need 1 tbsp whole coriander seeds

  1. Wash and soak split green moong dal in water for 6-8 hours. Discard skin from soaked dal. In deep narrow mouth vessel put this de- skin moong Dal, green chillies, ginger and salt. With the help of Boss hand grinder grind it into coarse batter. Remove in container. Add all mentioned spices to grinded moong dal batter. Mix well.
  2. Heat appe pan. Grease each cavity with little oil/ ghee. Put 1 tbsp of green moong dal batter. Cover and cook for few minutes till lower side turns crispy golden brown.
  3. Flip all and cook until lower side turns crispy golden brown.
