  1. Marinate chicken overnight in a bowl.
  2. Dry roast all the biryani spices separately and make a powder, that is called Biryani masala.
  3. Wash and clean the rice and soak for 1 hour.
  4. Boil water.
  5. Add mustard oil,salt, bay leaf, Cinnamon, green cardamom, cloves in it.
  6. Add Basamati rice.
  7. Cook until rice is half done.
  8. Separate whole garam masala and bay leaf with sieve.
  9. Drain water and spread the rice on flat surface.
  10. Soak the saffron strands in warm milk and keep aside for 1 hour.
  11. Take a large handi and arrange the rice, marinated chicken and fried potatoes in layers separated by ghee and saffron milk.
  12. Sprinkle rose water, keora water, biryani masala, lemon juice on it.
  13. Cover the air tight lid.
  14. Cook it for about 1 hour in low flame.
  15. Once done transfer to the serving plates.
