The ingredients needed to make Fried Rice with Palak Paneer:
- Get 2 cups rice
- Take 2 cups palak( spinach) chopped
- Get 200 gm Paneer
- Provide 1 cup Veggies of your own choice
- Prepare 2 medium size Onions chopped
- Take 2 tsp Coriander leaves chopped
- Provide 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- Get 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
- Provide 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Provide 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- Get to taste Salt
- Use 2 tsp Mustard oil
- Take 1 tsp Garam masala
- You need 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
Steps to make Fried Rice with Palak Paneer:
- Soak the rice until you prepare the Palak Paneer
- For Palak Paneer, take palak, 1tsb salt in a pot, add water and set to boil for 3/4 minutes. Deep fry the Paneer cubes.
- In a pan, add Mustard oil, cumin seeds, onions, ginger garlic paste and mix well, fry till the onions are slightly brown. Add palak (water strained out) and fry for some 2/3 minutes. Add the spices (turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala), mix well and cook for 2/3 minutes.
- Take all the materials from the pan and grind them to a thick paste in grinder. Add water if needed.
- Cook the paste for 2/3 minutes, add water, let it come to a boil, add paneer, cook covered for some 2/3 minutes and Palak Paneer is ready. π
- For fried rice, boil the rice (with 1 table spoon of vegetable oil) until it's 90 percent cooked, then strain out the water immediately and keep the rice in a plate below the fan to cool down nicely. Cook the veggies in a pan, add the salt to taste, and other spices (turmeric powder, Red chilli powder, cumin powder), cook for 2 minutes, add the boiled rice, give a quick mix, garnish with some coriander leaves and done. π
