- Provide 1 onion chopped

- Wash and marinate the fish with salt and turmeric powder
- Add oil in a wok and heat well
- Fry the fish well till it becomes golden and keep aside

- Add chopped onion saute adding salt and turmeric powder
- Add ginger garlic paste and saute well till the raw smell goes
- Add the jeera dhaniya powder and keep stirring
- Now add the tomato puree and red chilli Powder mix well
- As the raw smell of tomato disappears add cashew raisins paste saute well
- Now add water and allow it to boil
- Add the fish and cover for a while to get the fish softer a bit

- Garnish it with slitted green chilli and coriander leaves
