- Take 2 boiled potato
- Prepare 1 glass khati chach ( sour buttermilk)
- You need 2 tbsp oil
- Provide 2 cloves
- Provide 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- Get 1/4 tsp asafoetida
- You need 6-7 garlic
- Use 1/2 inch ginger
- Take 2 green chilli paste
- Use 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- Get 1 tsp red chilli powder
- Take 1,1/2 tsp coriander powder
- Use to taste Salt
- Get as needed Finally chopped coriander leaves
Instructions to make Aloo ki sabji (potato curry):
- Take a small bowl and now add all dry spices in the bowl and add little water in it and make a smooth paste. Heat the oil in the kadai and put cumin seeds, asafoetida and clove in it. When the cumin seeds start to crackle then add ginger, garlic and green chilli paste in it and saute it.
- Put the prepared paste in it and mix it well and saute for one minute. Now add 1 cup of water in it and when the water gets boiled then add boiled potatoes in it. And cook it for few minutes, after few minutes now add buttermilk and stir it continuously.
- When the buttermilk get boil and cook it on low flame for 8-10 minutes. After few minutes now add coriander leaves and mix it well and turn off the gas.
