The ingredients needed to cook Kasuri Machhi:
- Take 4 pieces Rohu fish
- Prepare 1 tsp whole jeera
- Get 1 tsp ginger paste
- Prepare 1 medium size onion chopped

- Marinade Rohu fish with turmeric and salt for 10 minutes.
- Then, heat oil in a kadai and fry this marinated fishes.
- Take another pan and heat oil in it. Saute cumin and chopped onion in the pan until brown.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook till oil seperates.
- Add the cumin powder, red chilli powder,garam masala powder and kasuri methi. Mix it thoroughly.
- Mix curd in it and cook till oil seperates. Then mix fried fish with it and can mix little water if reqire.
- Cook for 10 to 15 minutes in low flame. Remove from flame after a thick gravy and fish nicely coated with gravy masala.
