The ingredients needed to prepare Steamed Biscuit Cake:
- Provide 1 cup ground cream biscuit (any flavour)
- Use 1/2 cup milk or as required
- Take 1 tsp eno fruit salt
- Provide 1 tbsp chopped pistachios
Steps to make Steamed Biscuit Cake:
- Mix the milk to the ground biscuit and make a batter of pouring consistency. Meanwhile, pour some water in the steamer / pressure cooker and place a stand (to increase the height) and bring it to a boil.
- Just before steaming, add the eno fruit salt to the batter and mix well. Pour the batter immediately into a greased cake tin / container. Tap it well and sprinkle the chopped pista over it. (save some for garnishing).
- Gently place the container over the stand in the cooker and close the lid (in case of pressure cooker do not put the weight).
