  1. Get 2 Cups Dosa Batter
  2. Get 1 Cup Besan Flour
  3. Provide 2 Tablespoons Red Chilli Powder
  4. Use 3 Potatoes

  7. You need 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  8. Use Curry leaves

Steps to make Bonda:
  1. To prepare the batter: Mix the dosa batter, besan flour and chilli powder well.
  2. To prepare the potato stuffing: Pressure cook the potatoes until three whistles are sounded. When done, peel the potatoes and mash them.
  3. Heat a little oil in a pan and saute sliced onions and green chillies.
  4. Add the mashed potatoes to the above mixture. Add salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder to it. Also add curry leaves and mix well.
  5. Prepare balls out of the stuffing. Heat sufficient amount of oil in a pan for deep frying the bondas.
  6. When the oil is hot, dip the stuffing balls in the batter and fry them till they turn golden brown in color.
