The ingredients needed to make Aloo Bonda:
- Provide 1 tsp Rai -
- You need 1 tsp Jeera -
- Get 1/2 tsp Coriander seeds
- Get pinch Hing -
- You need Curry leaves - few, chopped
- Prepare Cashew - as per u required
- Prepare 1 Onion finely chopped
- Get 1 tsp Ginger fine crushed
- Provide 1 Green chillies finely chopped
- Get 1/2 tsp Haldi -
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder -
- Prepare 1/4 tsp Garam masala -
- Get to taste Salt
- Provide 3 Potatoes (boiled and crushed)
- Get 1 tbsp Lemon juice -
- Provide for batter :
- Prepare 1 cup Besan -
- Take 1/4 cup Corn flour -
- Provide 1/4 tsp Haldi -
- Prepare 1/4 tsp red chilli powder -
- Take 1/4 tsp Ajwain -
- Use to taste Salt
- Get Water as required
- Provide 1/4 tsp baking soda -
- Get 1 tsp oil -
Instructions to make Aloo Bonda:
- For stuffing : heat oil in a pan, add jeera, rai, coriander seeds, hing, curry leaves and stir it
- Add cashews till it turns to golden brown.
- Add onion and saute it well. Then add ginger and green chillies and saute it.
- Add haldi, chilli powder, garam masala, Salt and mix it well
- Now add mashed potatoes and mix it properly.
- At last add coriander leaves and lemon juice and mix it well
- Turn off the burner and keep it aside
- For batter : take a bowl, add besan, cornflour, haldi, red chilli powder, ajwain, Salt and combine well and then add water and mix well.
- Batter flowing consistency is thick, then add oil and baking soda. Mix gently.
- Now take stuffing in ur palm and make a small or medium sized ball
- Dip this balls in a batter and then deep fry
- Stir occasionally till it golden brown.
- Ready to eat ur Aloo Bonda. Enjoy with Green Chutney or Tomato Sauce
