The ingredients needed to make Onion bonda:
  1. You need 2 cup besan/gram flour
  2. You need 2 large onions
  3. Prepare 1 tsp Cumin powder
  4. Use 1 tsp ajwain/carom seeds
  5. Prepare 2 pinch baking soda
  6. Provide 1 tsp hot oil
  7. Use 3-4 green chillies / 1tsp red chilli powder
  8. You need 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
  9. Prepare 10 curry leaves

Instructions to make Onion bonda:
  1. Finely chop onion, green chillies, coriander leaves and curry leaves put them into a big bowl and add salt, cumin powder, ajwain and mix well with hands and till all the onions are separated and starts leaving water.. Keep aside for 5-10 mins
  2. Now add besan, soad and hot oil and mix, now add water little by little to make a thick batter.. The consistency should be thick, you should be albe to leave it in oil loke balls.. Keep aside for 10 mins
  3. Meanwhile heat oil in a kadhai, now dorp the batter into oil and fry on low to medium heat till golden brown..
