- Pre heat appam pan, grease it with oil. Sprinkle sesame seeds and mustard seeds. Once it starts to crackle put 2 tbsp of the batter in it.
- Let it cook on medium flame. Cover the appam pan with lid. - Once the lower surface becomes golden brown turn each appe upside down using a spoon so as to cook them from the other side as well and let it cook for 2 minutes.
- Serve immediately or pack it up in tiffins for kids with coconut chutney or tomato 🍅 sauce.
