- You need 150 gm Moong daal (without husk)
- Provide 1 big size onion

- Soak daal and chopped onion, garlic
- Take a pan, add oil and ghee. Once it is hot add mustard, jeera, bay leaf, dry red chilli and asafoetida
- After that add chopped onion and garlic, pepper, cloves, cinnamon. Saute on medium heat
- Once it is ready, add red chilli powder, Turmeric, garam masala, coriander powder and roast it on low flame. Add soaked dal. Add half glass of water.
- Cook it for 15 on medium heat and again low flame for 10 minutes. Let it simmer
- Take makai atta, wheat flour, oil and salt. Mix it properly. Bind it medium soft dough. Roll it and roast it. Roti is ready. Serve dal with some butter on top.
