- Provide 1 cup chick peas
- Take 1 teaspoon jeera powder
- Prepare 1 tablespoon dhaniya powder
- Use 1 teaspoon garlic paste

- Get 1 teaspoon chaat masala powder

- Provide 1 dry red chilli
- Get 1 pod green cardamom

Steps to make Ghoogni:
- Soak the cheakpeas overnight
- Boil the cheakpeas in a pressure cooker adding salt, turmeric powder, chopped onion and garlic
- Heat a pan add oil and temper the dry red chilli whole jeera bay leaf and whole garam masala
- Add chopped onion,saute adding salt and turmeric powder
- Now add the ginger garlic paste and saute well till the raw smell disappears
- Add jeera dhaniya powder and red chilli Powder and mix well
- Now pour the Boiled cheakpeas and combine well
- Garnish it with sweet tamarind chutney and serve
