The ingredients needed to prepare Healthy Corn Vada:
- You need 1/2 cup corn kernels
- Take 1/2 cup soaked bengal gram
- Prepare 1/4 cup paneer
- Prepare 2 tbsp besan(gram flour)
- Use 1 chopped onion
- Get 1 inch Cinnamon stick
- Prepare 1 dry red chilli
- Get 1/4 tsp fennel seeds
- Get 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
- Get 2 tsp Coriander leaves for garnishing
- Get 2 tsp Mint leaves
- Get 1 inch ginger
- Take 1 green chilli
- Prepare to taste Salt
- Provide as needed Oil
Instructions to make Healthy Corn Vada:
- First take corn kernels, soaked bengal gram ginger and green chilli in a blender and grind it coarsely. There should be no water in corns and bengal gram. Now take cinnamon, dry red chilli, fennel seeds and cumin seeds and make a powder of it.
- In a bowl take corn mixture and add powdered spices to it. Now add chopped onion, grated paneer, some bengal gram coriander leaves, mint leaves, besan and salt. Mix it gently. Make balls out of this mixture and flatten it gently to make vadas.refrigerate it for 15 min. Heat oil in a pan and fry it. We can shallow fry it too. Crispy vadas are ready to serve.
