  1. Provide 2 cup Idli rice
  2. Provide 1 cup Roasted bengal gram powder
  3. Provide 4 Garlic pods
  4. You need 1/2 tsp Asafoetida

  1. Soak 2 cup of dosa rice in water. Grind it along with red chillies, salt, asafoetida and garlic. the batter should not be watery. It should be thick more than dosa batter.
  2. Add 1 cup of roasted bengal gram powder and butter to that batter and mix it well.
  3. Now the dough is ready to make ribbon pakodas. Fill this dough in murukku maker use the ribbon pakoda attachment as shown in image.
  4. Heat oil in a kadai to deep fry the ribbon pakodas.
  5. Press that murukku maker straightly into hot oil and fry it. Turn the pakodas after some time. Remove it from oil, after the bubbles sound reduces.
