- Provide 1 bowl Gram flour
- Prepare 1 bowl rice flour
- You need To taste Salt
- You need 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- Prepare 1/8 tsp asafoetida
- Get 1 tsp garlic paste
- Take 1 tsp butter
- Get Cooking Oil for deep frying

- Mix gram flour and rice flour in a mixing bowl. Add salt, red chilli powder, asafoetida, butter and garlic paste and mix well by mashing thoroughly with your hands.
- Now add water slowly and make a dough slightly thicker than dosa batter.
- Now dough is ready to make ribbon pakoda. Fill the dough in murukku maker and use the ribbon pakoda attachment.
- Heat oil in a wok to deep fry ribbon pakoda. Press the murukku maker directly into hot oil and fry it. Fry from both sides till golden brown. Transfer it in a plate.
