The ingredients needed to make Aloo-Matar Curry:
- You need 4-5 Potatoes (boiled, peeled and partially mashed)
- Take 1/2 cup Pea
- Provide 1 Tomato (grated)
- Provide 2 Green chillies (finely chopped)
- You need 2 tablespoon Besan (dry roasted)
- Provide 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- Provide 1 pinch Asafoetida
- Prepare 2 Bay leaves
- Get 2 Dried red chilli

- Take 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- Use 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- Provide 1/4 teaspoon Crushed pepper
- Prepare 1 teaspoon Dried mango powder
- Provide 2 tablespoon Oil

- Heat oil in a wok.
- Add cumin seeds, dried red chillies, asafoetida and bay leaves in it and allow it crackle.
- Now add green chillies in it and saute it for a minute.
- Add grated tomato in it.
- Now add red chilli powder and turmeric powder in it and cook it until tomato is perfectly cooked.
- Then add roasted besan it and and cook it for another 1 minute.
- Now add crushed pepper and coriander powder in it and cook it it perfectly.
- Add potatoes in it and mix well.
- Now add peas in it then add 1/2-1 cup of water so that peas will be perfectly cooked.
- Once peas get perfectly cooked then add dried mango powder and garam masala powder in it and mix it well.
- Bring to a boil again then switch of the flame.
- Aloo-Matar curry is ready to serve now.
