- Take For sambhar-
- Take 1 cup toor dal
- Use 1/2 cup chopped pumpkin
- Provide 1-2 ladies finger (cut into pieces)

- Take 1 sprig curry leaves
- Get 1/2 tsp mustard seeds

- Take 2 tsp oil
- Prepare For vada-
- Prepare 2 cups urad dal
- Provide 1 large size chopped onion

- Take 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- Get few curry leaves
- Take 1/2 tsp salt
- Take 1/2 tsp chopped green chillies
- Prepare as required Oil for frying
Instructions to make Sambhar Vada:
- Preparation of vada -Soak urad dal for 3 to 4 hours and wash well and make paste.
- Now take a mixing bowl pour batter and add chopped onion, chopped curry leaves, cumin seeds, salt, chopped ginger, chopped green chillies, 2 tsp hot oil and mix it well.
- Now heat a deep pan add enough oil and make a small ball and flatten them and make a hole in the middle portion and deep fry both the sides till golden brown in slow-medium flame.
- Repeat a similar process and make all the vadas and keep aside.
- Preparation of sambhar-Wash toor dal well in water and boil with adding salt and turmeric powder till it half cook
- When dal becomes half cook add drumsticks and pumpkin and boil for 5 minutes.
- Now add the ladies finger and boil till cook.
- Now heat a pan add oil add mustard seeds and curry leaves and saute until sprouted.
- Now add chopped onion and saute until golden brown.
- Now pour curry dal curry and mix well, add tamarind paste, sambhar powder and mix well and cover a lid for 10 minutes.
- Now dip fry vadas in sambhar for 10 to 15 minutes, then serve and enjoy a healthy breakfast.
