  1. To prepare gatte, firstly. In a large bowl take a 1 cup besan.
  2. Also add, 1/4tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1/2tspfennel seeds, salt and ghee.
  3. Mix well and add 2TBSP water a required and make sure the dough moist and all spices are mixed well. Knead the dough for 5 min.
  4. Now pinch a ball sized dough and prepare cylindrical logs.
  5. In a large pan, 2 cup of water.
  6. Once the water comes to a boil, drop in prepared besan dough.
  7. Boil for 7-10 min, without disturbing. Once the besan dough is cooked, it start to float.
  8. Now, boiled dough with water drain off into a bowl.
  9. Cut the gatte into small pieces and keep aside.
  10. Gatte ki sabji recipe- Firstly, in a large kadai heat 2tbsp oil.
  11. Also add, 1tsp cumin, 1tsp mustard seeds,1tsp fenugreek seeds.

  13. Mix well and then add green chilli and onion and garlic.
  14. Sauté to golden brown and add tomato and 1tsp red chilli powder, 1tsp coriander powder.
  15. Also add, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and salt according to taste. And sauté on low flame until the spices turn aromat.

  17. Now, add prepare gatte and cover it for 3-4 min until gatte absorbs flavour.
