- You need 4 tbsp curd
- Use 2 tbsp besan/gram flour
- You need 5 grinded tomatoes
- Provide to taste salt
- Take 1/2 tsp kalongi(onion seeds)

- Provide 1/4 tsp Red mustard seeds

- Prepare 1 tbsp coarsely crushed coriander seeds
- Take 2 split green chillies
- Take 1 inch ginger pieces cut in thin sleced
- Prepare 1 tsp degi lal mirch(red Kashmiri lal )powder
- Get 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Take 3 big tomatoes pure
- Get 3-4 tbsp oil
- You need 1 tbsp desi ghee
- Get as needed water
- Prepare 6-8 curry patta( curry leaves)
Steps to make Punjabi Tomato Curry:
- Put 4 tbsp of besan with salt,red chilli powder & chopped onions, make a thick paste with the help of water.
- Heat oil & make pakoras from the paste.Cook till they become golden brown. Take them out.
- Put curd & besan in a bowl together & mix them well with the help of water.Beat very well to avoid lumps.
- Heat up oil &add red & black mustard seeds.Now add sarso.
- Add fenugreek seeds,whole red chillies, coriander seeds& kalongi.Now add tomato puree & split green chillies. stirr constantly. cook till oil spreads from corners.
- Add curry leaves.Boil 1 glass of water.Put it in the gravy along with curd & besan paste.cook till it becomes thick,stirr.
- Now add pakoras & cook for 5 minutes.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves & serve hot with rice.
