  13. Take 3-4 dry red chillies
  14. You need 4-5 curry leaves
  15. Prepare For Pakoras
  16. Get 1 cup besan
  17. You need 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  18. You need 1/2 tsp salt
  19. Take 1 pinch baking soda
  20. Prepare For garnishing
  21. Get 1 papad
  22. Prepare Green coriander
Steps to make Kadhi Chawal:
  1. First have a look on the ingredients required
  2. Mix curd, besan, salt, haldi, red chilli powder and 51/2 cups water.Beat well till smooth and no lumps remain.
  3. In a heavy bottomed pan heat oil.Add jeera, mustard seeds and methi seeds
  4. When jeera turns golden,add dry red chillies and curry leaves.Fry 1 minute.
  5. Add curd -water mixture.Stir continuously till it boils.
  6. After one good boil, lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes.Keep aside.
  7. To prepare pakoras, mix besan with water to make a paste.Beat well.
  8. Add red chilli powder and salt.
  9. Heat oil and drop spoonful of batter.Deep fry pakoras to golden brown
  10. For rice…Take rice and water and pressure cook for one whistle
  11. For plating pour spoonful of kadhi in serving dish keep ring mould in center and fill it with boiled rice take out ring carefully, roast papad and give shape of bowl and keep it on rice,arrange pakoras in this bowl and garnish it with green coriander
  12. Now it is ready to serve
