The ingredients needed to prepare Bihari style Mutton:
  1. Prepare 400 gms mutton on bones
  2. Get 2 large onions chopped
  3. Get 1 large tomato chopped
  4. Get 1/2 cup yoghurt
  5. Take 1 Tbsp ginger
  6. Use 4-5 garlic pods
  7. Take 3-4 Whole red chilli
  8. Prepare 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  9. Take 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  10. You need 1/2 tsp whole coriander powder
  11. Prepare 1 tsp whole garam masala (cinnamon stick, cloves, black cardamom)

  1. Wash the mutton pieces well and set aside. In a bowl add whole red chillies, turmeric, whole cumin seeds, whole coriander seeds, ginger, garlic and make a paste.
  2. Add salt to the paste and add yoghurt. Mix the mutton with that and marinate for 20 mins
  3. In a pressure cooker heat mustard oil and add chopped onions until pink in colour
  4. Add mutton to it and mix well. Cook until oil leaves surface
  5. Add chopped tomatoes and cook for another 10 mins
  6. Put in cooker for 3-4 whistles on low flame
  7. Now it’s ready to be plated. Add ghee and garnish with chopped coriander leaves
