The ingredients needed to prepare Gajar Ka halwa:
  1. Prepare 2 kg carrots
  2. You need 1 kg full fat milk
  3. Prepare 1 cup malai/cream
  4. Take 1/2 cup khoya/mawa
  5. Prepare 2 cup white jaggery (less or as per your taste)
  6. You need 1 tsp Cardamom (ellaychi powder)
  7. Use 1/8 tsp grated jaiphal (nutmeg)
  8. Take 2 tbsp ghee
  9. Prepare Dry fruits
Instructions to make Gajar Ka halwa:
  1. Rinse & peel carrots. Grate the carrots manually or in food processor. Heat pure ghee in a kadhai, Put carrots and stir continuously. Cook the carrots till all the milk evaporates,
  2. Then add Malai. Stir continuously. then add jaggery and mix it well. Stir and add half of the dry fruits.
  3. Now add khoya, cardamom powder & jaiphal.
  4. Cook for few mins more or until halwa leaves Ghee.
