- Take 500 g mutton with bones
- Provide 3/4 cup ghee
- Provide 1 medium onion sliced
- Take 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- Prepare 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
- Provide 1/2 tbsp kashmiri lal mirch
- Get 1/4 tsp haldi
- Use 1.5 tsp Salt
- Use 3/4 tsp dhaniya powder
- Take 1 tsp zeera
- Use 1.5 litre water
- Use 1/2 cup yoghurt
- Use 1 tbsp maida
- You need Kunna spice mix
- Use Kunna spice mix :-
- Prepare 1 tsp roasted and crushed shah zeera
- Take 1 pinch green cardamoms powder
- You need 1 pinch jaifal powder
- Provide 1 pinch javatri powder
- Provide 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
Instructions to make Mutton Kunna:
- In a pot add ghee heat it for a minute. Then add mutton to it and cook for another minute.
- Add sliced onions ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, Kashmiri lal mirch, haldi, dhaniya powder, salt zeera and 1.5 litre water
- Cover and cook until meat is tender and oil separates.
- Prepare kunna spice mix by mixing all the ingredients stated under kunna spice mix heading
- When oil has separated add yoghurt and cook for 10 minutes
- Add kunna spice mix and cook well
- Dissolve maida in a little water and add it to the kunna.
- Pour more water according to the desired amount of gravy
- Cover and cook on low flame for 10 minutes until gravy is thickened
- Add julienne ginger
