The ingredients needed to prepare Mutton Biryani:
- Provide 1 kg rice
- Use 1 & half kg Mutton meat
- You need 1 cup oil
- Provide 1 cup yoghurt
- Get 4 big tomatoes
- Prepare 4 big onion
- Provide 6 green chillies
- Take leaves Coriander
- Take leaves Few mint
- Use 1 Tsp whole garam masala
- You need 2 bay leaves
- You need 1 pack Biryani masala
- Provide 2 Tsp ginger garlic paste
- Provide 1 tsp yellow food colour
Instructions to make Mutton Biryani:
- Soak rice in water for 45 min
- Cut onion& tomatoes into rings.
- In pan add oil, ginger garlic paste, & all whole garam masala spices saute it till aroma comes.
- Add onion & fry it till golden add Mutton pieces & fry for 5 min.
- Add tomatoes & biryani masala in it & add yougart & bhoonify it till oil separates add 2 cups water & cover the lid & cook till meat tender.
- In big pan fill half with water & when it boils add soaked rice in it add 4 Tsp salt & bay leaves & cook till 1 kaani rice it means you have to cook rice ehen you mashed with finger you have 1 grain in it..
- Then drain rice in big strainer..
- In big pan add half of rice then add prepared Mutton gravy over it then again cover it with rice sprinkle yellow food colour add green chillies, coriander leaves & mint leaves & out biryani on dum for 15 min on slow flame..
- Serve hot with raita.. enjoy
