  1. Use 3 cup Rice
  2. You need 1 cup urad daal
  3. Prepare 1/4 cup grated beetroot
  4. Provide 1 teaspoon salt

  7. Take 1/4 cup roasted chana
  8. You need 3 green chilli

  1. Soak the rice and daal seperaly for 4 hours
  2. Then drain the water and grind it in mixture jar add required water and make smooth batter
  3. Then cover it and ferment it for 6 hours
  4. Then add salt mix well
  5. Now keep 2 cup of batter seperaly and add grated beetroot and mix well now in greased plate add 1 tablespoon white batter,then beetroot batter and repeat it then make flower design with toothpick.
  6. Then heat the water in idli cooker and steam the idli for 15 min.Then cool it and demould it in a mixing
  7. In a mixture bowl add all chutney ingredients and some water and make paste
  8. Now serve the idli in serving dish with coconut chutney
