  1. Use 150 gm sona masuri rice
  2. Use 150 gm moong masoor dal(mixed in equal measure)
  3. Prepare 1 onion

  3. Keep stirring in between so that it does not stick to the pot… once the rice and dal is cooked well, check for the consistency… the khichdi should not be too runny or too thick… drizzle some ghee on top and serve hot with aloo ka bharta and baingan ka bharta
