The ingredients needed to make Shaam savera dish:
  1. Prepare 1 tsp Butter
  2. Take 1 tsp Jeera
  3. You need 1 Onion
  4. Use 1/2 inch Ginger garlic
  5. You need As per taste Red chilli powder

  7. Provide 3-4 Tomatoes
  8. Prepare 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  9. Get 200 ml Water
  10. Take 1 tsp Butter
  11. Get 1 tsp oil
  12. Use 1/2 cup Besan
  13. Provide 1/2 cup Paneer
  14. Use 1 tsp Corn flour
  15. Provide As required Refined flour for coating
Instructions to make Shaam savera dish:
  1. Heat oil in a wok and ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste and jeera, saute for a minute.
  2. Add the spinach puree, salt and pepper, roasted jeera powder and coriander powder and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add cashew nut powder and besan powder and stir continusouly to avoid lumps.
  4. Switch off the flam and cool down to room temperature.
  5. In a mixing bowl add the grated paneer, salt to taste, pepper powder ½ tsp, aamchur powder, cardamom powder and corn flour, mix well and knead together.
  6. Take spoonful of mixture and shape into small roundels.
  7. Take a spoonful of spinach mixture and flatten it on your palms, place the panner roundels in the centre, bring the edges together and seal it with the spinach mixture. Lightly coat the spinach balls with refined flour. Heat oil in a wok on a medium heat, fry the coated balls until golden brown. Slice the balls in two halves and keep aside.
  8. Now for gravy- Heat butter in a pan, add jeera and allow it to splutter, add onions, ginger, garlic, kashmiri red chili, cashew nuts and tomatoes, saute for a minuter. Add salt to taste, coriander powder, red chilli powder and garam masala. Saute once again for a minute.
  9. Add water, cover and cook for 6-7 minutes. Cool down the mixture and grind well.
  10. Heat butter and oil in a wok, add bay leaf, green cardamom and ginger juliennes, saute for a minute
  11. Strain and add the tomato and onion puree to the wok, cook for 4-5 minutes, adjust the consistency of the gravy by adding water, bring it to a boil, add salt to taste garam masala and mix it well and lower the flame.
  12. Serve hot by first pouring the gravy and then placing the fried spinach ball that were sliced in two halves and can be accompanied with roti or paratha of your choice.
