  16. Provide 1/2 tsp turmeric powder / haldi
  17. You need 1/2 tsp jaggery
  18. Get to taste salt

  20. Get 1 cup toor dal cooked
  21. Get 2 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped
  22. Prepare for rasam powder:(or use udupi rasam powder)
  23. You need 1 tsp oil1 tsp coriander seeds / dhaniya seeds
  24. Provide 1/2 tsp jeera / cumin seeds
  25. You need 10 methi seeds / fenugreek seeds
  26. Take 3 dried kashmiri red chilli / lal mirch
  27. Provide leaves few curry
  28. Get 1/4 tsp black pepper / kali mirch
  29. You need for tempering:
  30. Get 1 tsp oil
  31. Provide 1tsp mustard seeds / rai
  32. Get 1/2 tsp urad dal
  33. Provide 2 dried red chilli broken
  34. You need few curry leaves
  35. Provide pinch asafoetida / hing
Steps to make Mysore Bonda and Ulundu bonda with Rasam:
  1. Wash urad dal until the water runs clear.
  2. Soak it enough water for 2 hours.
  3. Drain the water and add it to a blender jar along with 2 to 3 tbsps water and salt as needed.
  4. Blend it to a smooth fluffy batter adding more water as needed.
  5. The batter has to be thick like the vada batter.
  6. .Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
  7. Beat the batter for 2 to 3 mins.
  8. Making mysore bonda
  9. Heat oil in a deep pan.
  10. When the oil is hot enough, take small portions of this batter and drop in the oil.
  11. Stir and fry until golden.
  12. Transfer them to an absorbent tissue.
  13. Serve mysore bonda hot with any chutney or Rasam.
  14. Firstly, add a tsp of oil and roast coriander seeds, jeera, methi seeds, red chilli, curry leaves and pepper.
  15. Blend to fine powder. keep side.
  16. In a kadai take tomatoes, green chilli and curry leaves.
  17. Also add tamarind extract, turmeric, jaggery and salt.
  18. Cover and boil the tamarind water for 15 minutes.
  19. Add 2 cups of water and get to boil.
  20. Now add cooked toor dal and mix well.
  21. Also add prepared rasam powder or udupi rasam powder.
  22. Mix well and continue to boil for 2 minutes.
  23. Meanwhile, prepare for tempering by heating oil.
  24. Add mustard, urad dal, dried red chilli, curry leaves and hing.
  25. Pour the tempering onto the rasam.
  26. Also add coriander leaves and serve tomato rasam recipe or easy tomato saaru recipe with rice or Mysore bonda…
